Departure by luxury coach with a guide who will explain the history and the story of the Classical monuments of the city. During the first part of our excursion, we'll visit the ruins of the Terme di Caracalla and the ruins of the Mura Aureliane (III sec. d.C), before we continue to see the Colosseum, the most representative monument of ancient Rome, ordered in the year 72 A.D. by the Emperor Vespasiano and completed by Tito in the year 81 A.D. Here fights between gladiators, naumachie and spectacular exhibitions used to take place. This will be an outdoor visit. Close by you will see the amphitheater Flavio and the Arc of Costantino. Crossing Via dei Fori Imperiali, we'll then visit the Campidoglio. From above, there is a spectacular view of the Fori Romani. Finally we'll visit Piazza Venezia, with stops at the Teatro Marcello, Bocca della Verità, Circus Maximus, Piramide Cestia.

The site including the ruins of the ancient harbour of Rome is situated near the mouth of the Tiber. The visitor will be able to enjoy an embracing view on the archeological ruins, proof of the daily life and culture of an ancient city.
The town was inhabited by a rich social class and business tradesmen and which grew in importance as a military colony where ships stopped to collect their cargos. Florence and Venice
1st day: Rome, Florence
Arrival Florence in the morning. Visit of the city: the Duomo, the third “Pietà” by Michelangelo, the Baptistry with the Golden Bronze Doors by Ghiberti, Giotto’s Belfry, the Museum of the Accademia with the David by Michelangelo, Piazza della Signoria. Lunch in a Typical restaurant. Afternoon at disposal. Overnight stay.
2nd day: Florence, Venice

Capri (min. 15 pax)
After leaving Rome and driving along the “Sun Route” motorway, we will cross the regions of Lazio and Campania. From the coach you will enjoy the view of the famous Abbey of Montecassino. Once in Naples embarking for Capri. On arrival. Weather permitting, we will enjoy a visit the Blue Grotto, by rowing boats (should the visit of the Blue Grotto be impossible, it will be replaced by a visit to the Faraglioni). On the way back, from the harbour of Marina Grande, we will go to Anacapri by minibus, a tiny and picturesque Mediterranean-style village with a wonderful view in the whole Gulf of Naples. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Free time after lunch to reach the celebrated “Piazzetta” and to wander through the characteristical streets. Return to Rome.

Assisi - Orvieto (min. 30 Pax)
After a short panoramic tour of its northern part, we will leave Rome, by the “Sun Route” motorway. Our first stop will be in Orvieto, gorgeous medieval small town, famous for its Cathedral. We will spend the day visiting Umbria, rich in vineyards, olive groves and picturesque hill top villages. The itinerary is full of charming medieval cities: Spoleto (world-famous for the “Festival dei Due Mondi”), Trevi, Foligno, Spello, and the most celebrated: Assisi, the mystic city of St. Francis. The city, still surrounded by ancient walls, dominates the green slopes of Mount Subasio. Its rose-stone builings, the balconies full of flowers: everything in Assisi will hold you spellbound. Visit the church of St. Mary of the Angels and the Basilica of St. Francis, with the masperpieces of Giotto and Cimabue. It will be a pleasure to wander in the old city. Break for a genuine lunch in a typical restaurant.

Naples - Pompei and Amalfi
1st day: Rome, Naples, Pompeii, Amalfi
Leaving the city of Rome and driving along the “sun route” motorway, we will cross the regions of Lazio and Campania. Upon arrival in Naples, there will be a short brief panoramic tour. We will then reach Pompeii where, after a lunch in a restaurant, we’ll visit the famous axcavations of this roman city destroyed by the eruption of mount Vesuvius in the 79 A.D. We then drive to Amalfi. Overnight in hotel.
2nd day: Amalfi
Full day to enjoy the panorama, the famous promenade and the perfumes of this beautiful summer resort. Visit on your own the Cathedral of 900 B.C. with its splendid Bell Tower of 1180, that overlooks this small town. Lunch on the beachside. In the centre of the Piazza del Duomo the beautiful Fontana del Popolo, a work of art of 1700. Walk through the old quarter with its picturesque shops. Overnight in hotel.
3rd day: Amalfi, Pompeii, Rome
Breakfast in hotel. Free morning. Lunch in Sorrento. In the Early afternoon transfer to Pompeii and from there departure for Rome.
